Gavin Dew is an experienced corporate strategy, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs consultant with an entrepreneurial orientation and an appetite for disruption. For more than 15 years, he has worked across a wide range of sectors and organizations, in capacities ranging from consulting to in-house senior executive roles to co-founder of several startups.

As a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers in large companies and organizations, Gavin has been involved with navigating some of the most complex and challenging commercial and political environments in Canada, with billions of dollars and thousands of jobs at stake. This has included work on urban planning and land development, transit and infrastructure, tech, energy and resources, cannabis, and casino gaming.

Gavin completed an MBA at Oxford, where he wrote a thesis on social license to operate – a fancy expression for how companies get permission from communities to do things and build things.
